My name is Siddarth (or Sid for short) and I am currently in the second year of my IB Diploma Programme. One of the subjects I take is Economics HL (which is my personal favourite), which I find to be a very robust and attractive subject. Based on my research, I noticed that other streams such as AP and A levels have an advanced and diverse course in Economics too (some syllabi cover aspects that others do not). However, when studying the theories, models, and concepts of this fascinating subject in school, I noticed that (in the texts) they lacked a deserved focus on real-world applications. And this is what led me to produce this website.

When I initially started with my blog posts on this site, I had no idea of the various topics that it would take me and other concepts that I could then look into. Once I was able to notice this, I then deployed in the Advanced Reading Section. Although the site was initially intended to target just high-school economics students, I personally feel that the audience can be far broader. Young high-schoolers interested to take up economics, as well as those who have intentionally dropped economics as a subject, Also, with the advanced reading section, even college students can use this site as just a delightful reminder of this subject's applicability.

Nonetheless, my age and breadth of experience and research also pose a set of constraints on my writing and the content included.
